Frequently Asked Questions
- What can I use VidTuck for?
- Only use media you own or have permission to download, where the platform terms and applicable law allow it. Public availability alone does not grant permission.
- Does resolving a link mean my download succeeded?
- No. Resolving returns media information and, when available, a temporary direct URL. A download click or opened link does not prove that a file was saved.
- Will saving work in every browser?
- Saving depends on browser rules, source restrictions and temporary links. Compatibility has not yet been verified on iOS Safari, Android Chrome or desktop browsers.
- Can VidTuck access private or protected videos?
- No. VidTuck does not bypass login requirements, DRM, region restrictions or other access controls.
- Does VidTuck remove watermarks?
- VidTuck does not promise watermark removal. Respect attribution and the rights of creators.
- Where does the media come from?
- The intended delivery path is directly from an approved upstream CDN to your device. The VidTuck API must not relay or store video bytes. Availability is controlled by the source.
- Why might a link fail?
- Content may be unavailable, require login, be region restricted, expire or be blocked for direct delivery. There is no guarantee of success and no server relay fallback.
- Is VidTuck affiliated with TikTok?
- No. VidTuck is an independent service and is not affiliated with or endorsed by TikTok. Respective trademarks belong to their owners.
