Privacy Policy
Effective October 31, 2026. This policy describes the VidTuck MVP. Production launch is pending verification of the deployed configuration.
Links and media data
When you submit a TikTok link, the resolver needs that link to request information from the source. Upstream providers receive network requests and may process them under their own policies. When you open a media link, your device connects directly to the upstream CDN, which can see your IP address and request metadata.
The required design uses temporary media URLs and only necessary upstream headers in memory. The VidTuck API must not proxy, cache or store video bytes. Do not submit confidential information or links you are not permitted to use.
Logs and retention
Application logs and analytics must exclude submitted URLs, media URLs, signed query strings, cookies, credentials and authorization headers. Hosting providers may process connection metadata for security and rate limiting. Actual providers, retention periods and deletion procedures must be confirmed before production launch; no fixed retention period is promised here.
Analytics and cookies
This content package does not install analytics, set analytics cookies or transmit analytics events. If analytics is enabled later, this policy must identify the provider, purpose, retention and applicable consent controls before collection begins. Analytics must never receive your submitted link, temporary CDN link or credentials.
Your choices and contact
You can avoid submitting a link and stop using the service. An operator contact and a verified privacy request process must be published here before public launch. Do not send personal information to an unverified address.
